Lake District!

We had an unforgettable day yesterday , we spent the day in the Lake District, one of the most beautiful areas of Britain.  The sun shone almost all day, something completely unusual  here.
First we got the Ferry from Bownnes to Ambelside

We had the time to stroll around  Ambelside where we found the oldest shop in Britain built on a bridge

And finally we visited Dove Cottage, home of the Romantic poet William Wordsworth's

and its garden

We had the opportunity to practice our writing skills with the quill pens of the time
